"Oh, how many fish are under the boat? One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. How many to count, between each shore? One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. As the days swing in locomotion, oh, will we ever count this ocean? One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four."
A rotating pineapple, swarms of popcorn, a singing pianist and a conversation in a rowboat. These are some of the tableaus that are presented in Given enough time on this boat, you will learn to love me, where we once again meet characters in waiting positions, having conversations which are balancing between the intimate, unseen, latent and public small-talk.
Given enough time on this boat, you will learn to love me is concerned with phenomena which are incomprehensible but which are still close to our everyday experience - in other words: that, which cannot be experienced, but which effects all of experience.
